Small Word Tutorial



Supplies Needed:


Template 2 and Scrapkit here


Tube of Choice - I'm using the work of Les Toil, found here

Eyecandy 4000 glass


This is another easy tut, so let's get started.




1. Open the template.


2. With your magic wand, select the letter L in your template, selections, modify, expand by 2. Open tube of choice, copy & paste as a new layer. Selections, modify, invert and delete. Move this layer below your template layer.


3. Repeat this for the rest of your letters.


4. On the template layer, use your magic wand to select all the letters. Selections, modify, expand by 4. Open a paper of choice from the scrapkit and paste as a new layer. Selections, modify, invert, delete.


5. Still on this layer, go to effects,plugins, eyecandy 4000, glass. Use these settings: Bevel width: 30.00 Smoothness: 75 Bevel Placement: inside marquee Edge Darkening: 30 Gradient Shading: 35 Refraction: 50 Opacity: 0 Tinting: 50 Glass Color: White Move this layer under your tubes.


6. Copy merged.


7. Open a new 600 x 600 transparent background. Flood fill white. Paste as a new layer.


8. Open another paper from your scrapkit and paste as a new layer. Apply WSL_Mask 86. Merge group and move below template layer.


9. Add embelishments of choice. In my example, I added the tag and rotated 15 degrees.10. Add your name.


11. Add copyright, license #(if applicable) and taggers watermark.
